About this on-line project…

I think it’s a good point and I agree with the critic… And I try to do my discussions less poor…and I hope you all will bring your thoughts into this, why do you use recycling materials? How about this cooperation? Why is it so hard to communicate this way? Etc.
I think the project get “stronger” when we show others that cooperation isn’t easy; it’s a lot of wills in this project and it’s also uneven communication and a lot of silence too.

“The kind of contacts between artists that this project offers is not new, of course. But what might be fairly new is that the group’s discussion here has gone public. The participating jewellers generously let anyone with web access follow their internal communication – and even their conflicts. The tensions and disappointments that have developed in the project are not veiled. Quite a few participants have left the project, in the end leaving a core of five jewellers. When scrolling through the archive, one can find a lot of messages that mirrors some participants’ frustration over the limited efforts of others: ‘I’m a little disappointed about this on-line project…’; ’Following deadlines is quite important in our adult life and specially if you want to accomplish something as an artist’, etcetera.

Some posted messages are interesting, but a lot of them are not. There is a lot of repetition, and the English is often poor”.

I don’t know which level we will have the discussion at, and I don’t know what we should discuss…
I think it’s too much silent for the moment, and I can’t understand that we give each other critic for not be communicate, when you don’t communicate…(why?).
I think you have to be more active in this in some how… For my own, I think I will work with my jewelleries in silence for awhile… because if we drop the idea about some kind of publication, I can concentrate of my own work and don’t have to organize these ideas.

It would be nice to see both Marie and Marias shows on this blog, even if has nothing to do with the recycling thoughts and the on-line project… But interesting that we got a life beside this on-line project…
I think that everything hang together in some how, even if it some time it’s mile far from one thing to another. //Paula

Hi dear jewelleryfriends.

Got an e-mail from Sofia Björkman / Platina in Stockholm, they don’t have time to show our things in Platina... They have started to rework there activity…
NO problem for us, after that we have decide to do the 3 exhibitions we already got.
But Sofia Björkman has the idea and hint that we may be could do a cd and some kind of internet show. Interesting! But I wonder if we have the time and the knowledge to do this kind of things. I don’t have so much knowledge about this computer world; I can just do the easy part of if. But if someone thinks this is interesting and may be have someone who can do it…
Please, think about this and tell the others.
